Section B (Subjective)

One test now opens two doors from India: undergraduate law at top UK universities and Jindal Global Law School. We prepare you for both, with focused coaching on the reading, reasoning and essay skills the LNAT actually measures — not a CLAT course with an LNAT chapter bolted on.
Your LNAT score unlocks the most prestigious undergraduate law programs globally. Each of these universities requires it as a core admission criterion.

The LNAT (Law National Aptitude Test) is a 2-hour-15-minute, computer-based admissions test used by around ten UK universities and, in India, JGLS. It has two sections: 42 multiple-choice questions in 95 minutes (this produces your score out of 42) and one 40-minute essay. It tests reading, reasoning and argument — not legal knowledge — so there's no syllabus to memorise; there's a skill to build.

New to it? Start with our full guide: what is the LNAT.
For years the LNAT mattered only to Indian students aiming at the UK. That's changed. From 2026-27, JGLS made the LNAT its sole entrance test, replacing CLAT and LSAT-India for its LLB programmes. So the same preparation now works for two routes at once:
You sit the test at one of 40+ Pearson VUE centres across India — Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune — for about £120 (~₹13,000).
We're not a general law-entrance institute that added an LNAT module. The LNAT is the whole point of what we do, and that focus shows up in the coaching.
Every component of LNAT preparation directly builds the cognitive toolkit you'll use throughout your legal career — not just to pass an exam.
A baseline assessment of your reading, reasoning and essay writing, and a target set against your chosen universities[cite: 1].
A structured, rigorous approach designed to build underlying analytical skills rather than relying on rote memorisation[cite: 1].
Our free resources include practice papers and sample essays, and our guides cover the whole exam: Section A, Section B, scoring, registration and dates & deadlines.

Important Clarification
For universities such as Oxford, UCL, LSE, and King’s College London, students must complete both the UCAS application and the LNAT examination. One does not replace the other.
The Law National Aptitude Test is the key benchmark used by global tier-one institutions to select exceptional talent for their highly competitive undergraduate law cohorts.
Consistently ranked as the world’s premier center for legal scholarship, Oxford requires a commanding performance in both Sections A and B of the LNAT to clear its rigorous pre-interview screening thresholds.
Bridging elite Indian law aspirants with premier global universities through highly precise, non-commercial advisory systems.
Clear, structured answers covering the LNAT, UCAS applications, Oxbridge admissions timelines, and the broader UK law school application process for Indian students.
Yes. The LNAT is the entrance test for both, so one preparation covers UK law schools and JGLS. For JGLS, only your Section A score is used[cite: 1].
Guidance Note
Elite UK law admissions evaluate reasoning, intellectual depth, consistency of preparation, and academic potential rather than memorized legal knowledge.
